Education Abroad Ambassadors at Texas State University are fellow Bobcats who share their international experiences and encourage others to study abroad. Ambassadors, who have participated in various Education Abroad programs, inspire peers by sharing their personal stories and insights. Position Description

Key Requirements to be a Texas State Education Abroad Ambassador

  • Education Abroad Alumni: Participation in faculty-led, summer hub, exchange, or affiliated programs.
  • Minimum GPA: A cumulative GPA of 2.5 at Texas State University at the time of application.
  • Volunteer Commitment: Willingness to volunteer at least 12 hours per semester for the Education Abroad Office’s promotional and recruitment efforts.
  • Mandatory Training: Attend the mandatory one-hour in person session at the beginning of the semester for training, updates, and scheduling.
